My Experience

I’m D’Andre L. Ford. Pronounced Dondray. 

  I am an experienced published photographer. I’ve worked in photography, film and television.

  I attended Los Angeles Valley College and Santa Monica College. At LA Valley I majored in photojournalism.  I held a campus job as the darkroom lab tech. Assisting other students with processing film and making prints, and contact sheets. Also I was on the college newspaper. The Valley Star. At the Valley Star I was a staff photographer. Then rose to become a page editor, photo editor, and head of the photography staff. 

  I interned with commercial photographer Andrew Strauss and later became his assistant and studio manager.

  Other photographers I’ve assisted are Jerry Avenaim, Steven May, Robert Forrone, Peter Dokus, Dave Nagel and Jeff Katz, Brett Ratner.

  I work as the studio manager of LA Lofts. Managing bookings, commercial, fashion photo shoots, music videos, and castings.

I worked for the entertainment news show EXTRA, as a production assistant. Working on red carpet events, the Academy Awards Golden Globes, the Emmys, and the Grammys.

  Skilled in producing, casting, location scouting, lighting photo shoots, in studio and location. I am proficient in using Capture One, Adobe Lightroom Photoshop and Bridge.

  I've shot look books for Kevin Circosta of Change and Krystal Gellegos of the Mazzari Boutique.
